Lauren Eichelberger
Lauren Eichelberger began dancing at the age of three at Pennsylvania Regional Ballet. Throughout her youth, she attended summer programs at Walnut Hill School of Performing Arts and performed at numerous Regional Dance America Northeast Festivals. After graduating from East Pennsboro Area High School in 2004, Lauren participated in a cultural exchange in Heidelberg, Germany.
She then attended Marymount Manhattan College, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and double majored in English. While at Marymount, Lauren performed in works by Johannes Wieland, Twyla Tharp, and David Parsons, and was selected to join the Marymount Manhattan Dance Company, a prestigious group of 20 students chosen for a year-long residency with New York City choreographers.
Lauren attended Villanova School of Law, earning her J.D. in 2012. She began practicing law in the Perry County District Attorney's Office and served her last two years there as the first female District Attorney in Perry County. Lauren continues to serve on the Board of Perry County Council of the Arts, an organization that builds community through the arts while re-imagining creativity in rural landscapes. Lauren is currently a Senior Deputy Attorney in the Criminal Prosecutions Section of the Attorney General's office with a focus on crimes against children.
