Pennsylvania Regional Ballet announces it’s Summer Intensive 2012, a 5 week program beginning Monday, July 9 and running through Friday, August 10, 2012. The 5-week program is designed for the intermediate and advanced dancer who wants to improve their skills over the course of the summer. With nationally known master teachers and smaller classes, PRB’s Summer Intensive will help your dancer grow.

Sandra Carlino - Artistic Director, Pennsylvania Regional Ballet

Kimberly Chapman - formerly with Eliot Feld Ballet Company, currently Artistic Director, Vineland Regional Dance Company

Jeffrey Gribler - Ballet Master, Pennsylvania Ballet

Adrienne Dellas Thornton (Ballet - Daytime & Evening) - Master Teacher; formerly on faculty of The Kirov Academy & Director of the Debbie Allen Dance Academy.

Anton Wilson (Modern) - formerly with Jennifer Mueller/The Works, currently on faculty at Baltimore School for the Arts

Kristen Weiser (Ballet) - formerly with Cedar Lake Ensemble, currently on faculty of Columbia Performing Arts Center

Pennsylvania Regional Ballet’s Summer Intensive will be held in PRB’s studios located at 211 North Enola Drive, Enola, PA 17025. Three beautiful studios await your dancer in this renovated 1906 church.

Lunch: Please pack a lunch and water each day for your dancer.

Housing: Housing can be arranged with host families at a nominal fee on a first come/first served basis. Please call or email if you are interested in housing for your dancer.

Placement: All placement will be determined by through scheduled audition prior to the beginning of the program or determined by video tape, due May 1st, to include barre and center.  Maximum of 15 minutes.

Cost:
Ballet V (Preprofessional), Ballet IV & Ballet III Levels: $1700 for 5 weeks; Ballet IIIA Level:  $1350; Ballet II Level: $950; Ballet IIA Level:  $750; Ballet I Level $550

Current PRB students will receive a discounted rate

Weekly Rate (not available to current PRB students): $350 - Ballet V, IV, III; $200 - Ballet II; $175 - Ballet IIA; $150 - Ballet I

Pre-School Classes for Creative Movement, PreBallet 1 & 2, Ballet IA are held on Saturdays for the five-weeks.  Advanced Beginner Ballet is held on Monday from 5:00 - 6:30. PM ($90 for the 5 weeks).  Adult Ballet Classes are held on Wednesdays from 7:30 to 8:45 PM ($15/class).

Saturday schedule includes:

Creative Movement: 10:00 to 10:45 AM  ($65 for the 5 weeks)
PreBallet 1:  11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon  ($70 for the 5 weeks)
PreBallet 2:  10:00 to 11:00 AM  ($70 for the 5 weeks)
Ballet IA:   11:00 to 12:30 PM  ($90 for the 5 weeks)

To register: Complete an application (to have an application sent to you, please call PRB's studio at 717-732-2172) and send with a check for $250 to cover your nonrefundable deposit no later than March 1, 2012 to hold your child’s place in our program. Mail both, along with a video tape showing barre & centre (max. 15 minutes) to Pennsylvania Regional Ballet, 211 North Enola Drive, Enola, PA 17025 Attn: Summer Intensive 2012. To receive discount (below), balance (minus deposit) due in full April 1, 2012; total tuition (minus deposit) due in full May 1, 2012.

Discounts are available for payment in full (minus deposit) by April 1 at the following rate:
$100 - Ballet III, IV, V
$ 75  Ballet IIIA
$ 50  Ballet I, IIA, II
A $100 penalty will be assessed if tuition is not paid in full by May 1, 2012.  Please make your checks payable to PRB Summer Intensive 2012.
